Request a Ballot

Don’t have access to a printer to print off your application for an absentee ballot? You can request one by writing a letter with the required information or you can call your County Board of Elections and they can mail you the application. See details below.

In Writing

You can write a letter to your County Board of Elections and ask for an absentee ballot. You will need to include the following information:

  1. Name
  2. Signature
  3. Address where you are registered to vote
  4. Birthdate
  5. ID number (SSN, Driver’s License or State ID # that starts with 2 letters) or photocopy of ID document
  6. Date of general election (November 3, 2020)
  7. State that you’re a registered voter
  8. Party affiliation
  9. Address where the ballot should be mailed

Call your local County of Board of Elections and ask them to send you the form to request an absentee ballot. Click here to find the phone number for your County Board of Election.

Yes, we know you’re asking why can’t you just ask for the absentee ballot. You must request the absentee ballot in writing so ask your County Board of Elections to mail you the application. Once you get the form, fill it out, and mail it back in immediately so you can get your absentee ballot. You will be required to provide postage.
