Tommy Greene

Tommy Greene is our next State Representative from the 16th Ohio House District.

Tommy Greene was born the 4th of 5 children to a steelworker and a teacher’s aide. Tommy’s parents taught him to work hard, always fight for what is right, and to never forget where he came from. Through the example and hard work of his parents, Tommy grew up in a family where he was encouraged to reach for the stars, but to also make sure he was helping to lift his community along the way.

Tommy Greene was born in Westlake, Ohio and grew up in Bay Village. He attended public schools his whole life and later graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Journalism from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. After working in Washington, DC and Columbus, Ohio, Tommy returned to the westside of Cleveland, where he is fighting for the working families of the 16th House District.

Tommy Greene helped lead Equality Ohio, the state-wide nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing full equality for LGBT Ohioans. Today, Tommy Greene is the head of business development for North Water Partners, a small business on Cleveland’s near westside.

Tommy Greene lives in Rocky River, Ohio. When he’s not working to grow his company and campaigning, Tommy enjoys spending as much time as he can with his nieces and nephews and playing soccer and volleyball on the shores of Lake Erie.
