Terri McIntee

Terri McIntee is running for her first term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She was raised in Northeast Ohio on middle class values of hard work and community service. She learned early in her life that nothing in life is given to you but through hard work and commitment you can develop opportunities to find fulfillment in whatever you do.

Terri received her Bachelors in History from The Ohio State University and her Masters in Human Resource Management and Development from the New School’s Milano Graduate School. After thirteen years of working in the business world Terri turned her passion towards the nonprofit sector developing statewide and regional Public Policy training’s for individuals with disabilities and their families. She encouraged participants to be active in the legislative process working to solve problems and develop policy that works for communities through coalition building.

Terri has volunteered for more than twenty years advocating for civil rights, voters rights protections, and access to quality education for those individuals most marginalized. Her passion is driven by her first-hand knowledge as parent of a child with Down syndrome. She has been appointed by several administrations to statewide councils and committees serving in leadership roles on behalf of Ohioans. Terri has committed her life to helping those around her and making a difference one person at a time. She is known for her “Trusted Community Leadership”.

Currently Terri works in the public sector in educational services and continues to give back to her community by representing the voice of families on her local Family and Children First Council. Terri resides in Burton Township with her youngest son.
