Lee Schreiner

Lee is a long time resident of the 23rd Ohio House District. He has education degrees from Urbana University (B.A.) and The Ohio State University (M.A.). He retired in 2011 after a successful and honored teaching career of 37 years in the South-Western City Schools, a district that he loves and where he has made his home.

Lee is proud to say that he has been a member of the PTA/PTSA every year since beginning his career in education.

In addition to teaching, Lee has served on The South-Western City Schools Board since 2013, The Grove City Board of Zoning Appeals and numerous scholarship committees and boards. He has held elected offices on The Ohio Education Association Board of Directors and The National Education Association Board of Directors, as well as serving as the Chair of the NEA Social Security Fairness Task Force in Washington, DC.

After retirement, Lee served as the facilitator of Intergenerational Mentoring for future educators at The Ohio State University.

He has been happily married to his wife, Jane, for 40 years. He and Jane have two sons: Damien (wife, Bianca) and Sebastian, both graduates of South-Western City Schools, and one grandchild.
